The Epcot Festival of the Arts is here once again! I am so excited to see that my favorite show on Spaceship Earth is BACK! Last year, as the Festival came to a close, I looked back on the light show on Spaceship Earth, that was created for the Festival, and couldn’t help but look at it in a different light. In this time of war overseas and uncertainty in the world, we are all still “connected”, as humans, fighting for humanity, freedom and peace. I think we can all feel the message in this show, a message of love and hope.
When I first saw this show, I cried. Like a baby. Mostly from the nostalgia of childhood. Listening and watching now, with all that the world is going through, it’s meaning just seems deeper, more real. For isn’t that what it’s all about, love and hope? Hope for the future and humanity. Faith in the unknown but inspiration in all of it. Yes, we are all connected in one way or another. Even if it’s wishing on the morning star or trying to find that treasure at the end of the rainbow. Here’s hoping we see more of that every day.

So, if you need me, I’ll be on a bench watching this show again. And again. And most likely, crying again. But they are tears of joy and of hope. Be the light, Dreamers. See ya real soon!
